Kevin Walton and Dawn Exton picked up the top prize at the York John Smith's Mixed League competition finals.
Following a narrow 2-0 result over Tap's Pete Leake-Karen Richardson, the Cygnet duo, who were last season's beaten finalists, took the Mixed Pairs trophy with an exciting 2-1 victory over Barry-Chris Noble, 2-1 winners against Golden Slipper colleague Mick Willsden-Doreen Johnstone.
However, Willsden turned up an outstanding performance to take the men's individual crown.
Nineteen, then a splendid 16 darts saw off Noble's semi-final challenge and, against Leeman's Martin Waddington, a 2-1 victor over Dave Gibbons (Cygnet), Willsden clinched the 2-1 decider, and the trophy, with a superb 180 for 16-dart game.
Huntington's Angie Hields is the women's champion.
An excellent 21-darter laid the foundation for a 2-1 win against Sharon Neads who gave herself a good chance for the title when levelling with 22.
Hields won her semi-final 2-0 against Slipper's Johnstone, while Neads took out her Cygnet colleague Diane Moreland 2-1.
The Blind Draw Mixed Pairs event was a straight 2-0 win for Dave O'Hara (Bumper) and Exton against Noble and Leeman's Mandy Waddington.
O'Hara and Noble each included 180 scores.
Awards were presented by Lee Walsh, John Smith's Brewery Sales Manager.
Steve Reynolds and Rob Platt each recorded 19 darters in the York Atlas Auto Services League division one.
Slipper took the match within the singles with Pete Turnbull and Trevor Platt among the tons. Darren Blake was Clifton B's only singles success.
Martyn Turner was a 19 dart contributor for Clifton 'A' in their 6-3 win at Acomb, while Tap's Darren Bailey-Dean Saxton were the match-winners against Bishopthorpe SC.
A fine 20-darter from Alan Simson inspired Cygnet to a good win at Huntington whose best came from Mal Muncaster.
In division two a magnificent 116 finish for 21 from Steve Richardson stood out in Crescent 'A' team's demolition of Burton 'A'.
Joint top Clifton 'C' recorded a ninth game victory over Woolpack, with Steve Scott scoring the tons to secure the extra point. A Billy Wylie maximum didn't prevent Fulford Arms going down to Leeman whose Keith Wright stood out.
A splendid 17-darter from Andy Edkins gave Howden Arms a chance, however consistent scores from Dave Loftus and Graham Hudson gave Ebor the 5-4 win.
Nick Katsarelis hit the high scores to inspire division three leaders Hospital Club to a fine 7-2 victory, while Bay Horse 'B' moved into second spot with a 6-3 win at Indoor Bowls, whose Mick Snowden scored well to save the aggregate. Alice Hawthorn's campaign began with a fine 6-3 victory, Simon Jackson doing well. Good scores from Mark Thornton and Stuart Shaw helped give Puss their first victory of the season, while Acomb recorded a victory over Skelton.
All teams must submit competition forms by April 15.
