York City chairman John Batchelor has revealed more of his Minstermen blueprint, including plans for a city centre sports bar and club shop.
The City supremo is also poised to release his new stadium designs and plans that will see the club re-branded and its image overhauled.
"We will be opening a new sports bar in the middle of York before the end of the year and attached to that will be the club shop," he confirmed.
"You can imagine how many people will walk past such a venture in the middle of York, whereas Bootham Crescent is out on a bit of a limb."
The exact location of the bar and shop is currently under wraps, but Mr Batchelor has promised to unveil his long-awaited stadium designs before the end of the season.
"I can't give you a hint of where it is because that just puts the land price up," he said.
"As soon as we have bought the land, I will let you know.
"But it will have a hotel, casino, bars and all that kind of stuff."
The club rebranding will include a new logo for City, which will then be mirrored by Batchelor's motor-racing team and other spin-offs.
"Whatever we do, the brand will be there," explained Batchelor, who last night met members of the York City Supporters' Trust prior to City's game with Carlisle United.
"One or two people have already seen the re-branding and have reacted very positively to it."
As revealed in the Evening Press, the change of image for the Minstermen includes plans for a new strip for next season.
"I think when people see the new strip that we have designed, they will also see we have drawn on some elements of history from the club," said Mr Batchelor.
