A TOP class performance by Tracey Farmeary retained the York John Smith's Ladies League Individual competition title.
Cygnet's Anne Bass had her chance to impress early on in the best of five challenge but Farmeary forged to a 2-1 lead with 22 darts.
Then a heartbreaking 180 score was followed by a splendid 93 finish for 18 darts to complete Farmeary's objective.
Nevertheless the Phoenix 'B' star was upstaged by her colleague Angie Hields for the player of the night award.
Hields included four tons, 120, two 140s, and finished both games while partnering Sue Smith to the pairs' victory over Brigadier's Michelle Britton-Karen Richardson.
Hields was also on hand when required to seal a close triples event victory.
Hields, supported by Bev Haston and Carole Pipes, beat the Nags Head trio of Tina Platt, Dot Dykes and Sue Turpin 2-0.
Platt also went down 2-0, partnering Julie Ashton in the captain-vice captain event, their victors being Bass and Dawn Exton.
The drawn pairs competition was won 2-1 by big scoring from Britton and Nags Head's Sue Tate from Cygnet's Liz Powell and Phoenix's Smith.
To win the Three Fastest Finishes during the season trophy, Exton realised fine 19,19,20 dart games, while Maureen Ferguson, the Half Moon skipper, threw the highest finish, a 150 shot.
Prizes were presented by Lee Walsh, the John Smith's Brewery sales manager.
Sun Inn, Acomb, are York White Rose Ladies League division one champions. They completed the season in style, beating their nearest rivals Fulfordgate whose only win came from their last player Karen Reasbeck.
Sun had excellent games from Julie Scattergood (22) and Sue Scrimshaw (23).
Milly Mountain took only 22 darts to put Crescent 3-2 up, but New York took the spoils with Janet Ellis then Marion Greenwood.
Kim Karadaunt sealed Collingwood's 4-3 victory over Fulford Conservatives, while Beryl Thornham put Avryl Rose on to get Deramore's match win at Railway Institute.
Coach and Horses, Tadcaster, are division two title holders by one point.
A 4-3 win against Bumper, clinched by Jill Clapham, was enough, while Six Bells who beat Palace 5-2 and Clarence also winning 5-2 at Tap, must play-off tonight to determine second-place.
And division three is not yet settled. Big scores from Jo Piercy, Hilary Gelderd and Dawn Platt took Lord Nelson to a 5-2 result over Huntington, whose Sue Smith shot two tons. This put both Nelson and Huntington on 54 points and the two will play off for the championship at Crescent tonight along with the competition semi-finalists.
Maureen Tindall (Institute) defends the individual crown from a line-up of three Sun players, Julie Scattergood, Heather Beadnell and Ann Franks.
Pairs' contestants are Joanne Heaton-Diane Sanderson (Nags Head, Askham Bryan), Irene Taylor-Denise Fahey (Institute), Sue Scrimshaw-Scattergood and Beadnell-Sheelagh Lord (Sun).
Triples' teams are Alice Hawthorn, Railway Institute, Sun and Coach.
