AT the time of year when York looks at its best with daffodils in full bloom, I wonder if any readers or council officers can enlighten the people in this area, why there are no daffodils from Micklegate Bar to Victoria Bar?
Arguably this is one of the best stretches of wall; thousands and thousands of visitors each year turn right at Blossom Street lights for a first view of York.
With three large schools in the area, the children could be involved. The money could easily be raised from donations. Perhaps York Civic Trust could help?
