Pocklington bounced back from last week's League Cup semi-final defeat with an emphatic 6-0 conquest at Riccall.
A spectacular goal from Baz Gargett and a penalty from Paul Wilson put them two up by half time.
After the re-start Chris Tatterton added two more, Gargett netted his second and a well-worked move left Dave Ablett with a simple tap-in for the sixth.
Aaron Craggs, playing his last game for Pocklington before moving to America, tried his hardest to score but managed to miss no less than five chances.
Riccall, who now look odds on for relegation, battled hard throughout but could not break down the Pocklington defence.
Nestle Rowntree entertained Boroughbridge and almost opened the scoring in the tenth minute when a Pete Sinclair header was cleared off the line.
One minute later Duncan Quick headed Boroughbridge into the lead from close range and soon after Les Gray capitalised on a defensive mistake to claim the second.
Joe Gaughan pulled one back when his shot was deflected into the net.
After the interval the Boroughbridge goalkeeper pulled off a tremendous save to prevent 'Trees drawing level but in the 70th minute Ollie Uffindall headed Boroughbridge's third.
A last-minute strike from substitute Mark Dickinson rounded off a 4-1 win for the Bridge ranks.
Old Malton and Bishopthorpe played out a tame 0-0 draw with the only excitement centred around a penalty awarded to Old Malton two minutes from time. However, they promptly missed.
Simon Wilson caused the upset of the day when he netted both the Crayke goals to defeat Dringhouses and just about end any lingering title aspirations they may have held.
Kartiers meanwhile came from behind twice at Dunnington to take a deserved share of the spoils.
The home side went two up with a goal from Robert Hart after ten minutes followed by a Chris Burgess penalty.
Simon Glavin narrowed the gap for Kartiers on the stroke of half time and Russell Seagrave hit an equaliser after the re-start.
Both sides were evenly matched in the second half with Dunnington taking the lead when Burgess hit his second goal and Graham Cannon equalising for Kartiers.
Andy Smith struck the only goal of the game for Wigginton Grasshoppers at New Earswick when Tom Matthew set up the first half chance with a cheeky back-heeled pass.
The home side lacked a cutting edge up front and have become the first side to be relegated from the premier division this season.
With only one game left, New Earswick cannot catch the teams above them.
