BAY Horse, Fulford, demolished Tap 9-0 with an awesome 9-0 display in York Atlas Auto Services Darts League division one.
Sixteen darts each from Rich Corner and Simon Craven inspired Bay Horse then Allan Galley (17) and Paul Cooper (122 finish for 18) ripped Tap apart before Andy Lawson added a 20-darter. Tap's Mick Nixon notched a maximum.
Neil Hart was in tremendous form when following up a 20 darter with two pairs game 180s and a 76 finish as Clifton 'A' ran out 6-3 winners over Golden Slipper.
Alan Simpson (180) and Sam McCracken (19) stood out for Cygnet but Tony Raymond (19) put Bishopthorpe in front. Even so, Cygnet took the pairs for the match.
Clifton 'B' had Alan Smith and Ali Blake as their match winners at Huntington.
In division two, Fulford Arms consolidated their fine start to the season with a 7-2 at Reindeer, while Woolpack's 8-1 victory over Burton 'A' saw Moira Atkinson in excellent form.
Clifton 'C' had their meeting with Howden Arms won within the singles while Ebor's Lynn Platt-Graham Hudson combination were ninth game match winners at Leeman.
A brilliant 17-darter from Mick Powell inspired Crescent 'A' to a narrow win over house rivals Crescent 'B'.
Hospital Club top division three by two points after a 6-3 win at Acomb Hotel. Skelton took the honours 5-4 against Bay Horse 'B'. Steve Reynolds was best for Skelton while good scores from Jason Powney saved Bay the aggregate point.
Shepherd 'A' squeezed a 6-3 victory from their high-scoring York John Smith's Men's League encounter with Poacher.
The latter had Gary Hannigan as a 180-scorer but the outstanding performance was 15 darts, closed with 111 finish, from Kevin Walton.
Three 140s took Chris Thompson out in 14 darts. Sun also had number one Tony Cooper, gaming in 21 darts and partnering Mick Reagan (180) to take the decider at Holgate.
Bootham Tavern won 6-3 at Osbaldwick whose Steve Machen found a 116-finish to record 21 darts. Andy Turpin opened with 180 for 19 darts. Glenn Waterworth won in 21 while Dean Walton checked off.
Cygnet 'A' outshone Swan 9-0. Mark Hartley started with a splendid 17 darts onto which John Mooring added 21 which included three tons, then 140.
Mark Addinall threw a fine 19-darter which helped Horseman to the aggregate but Green Tree 'B' won 7-2, Darren Hoban out in 21 darts.
Maximums from both Gordon Foster and Mick Lambert guided Flag to an 8-1 score at Sun 'B' while Ian Hartley set Cygnet 'B' off to a 7-2 at Slip which sees them top division two.
Shepherd 'B' were well served in a 6-3 over Institute 'B' by John Dykes (19) and Mick Percival (20) while Saddle had Andy King (21) starring in a 5-4 victory over Green Tree 'A' who took the aggregate via a good Mike Harrison game.
Mark Gamble produced an outstanding 18 darts as Victoria Vaults overcame Groves 7-2 while Pete Miller led Old Ebor to a 6-3 at Institute 'A'.
York John Smith's Mixed League division two champions Golden Slipper 'B' closed the season with a 6-3 victory over their 'A' side which included 18 darts by Mick Willsden and a fine 114 finish for 21 from Barry Noble.
Leeman 'B' had Keith Wright shooting a splendid 17 darter against Vaults while Mark Hartley (180) and Colin Rowntree (19) starred in Cygnet 'B' team's 5-4 over their 'C' side.
Good games from Kevin Walton (19), Paul Mizon (20) and Dave Gibbons (21) took Cygnet 'A' to a 6-3 victory against Huntington while Tap's 6-3 included 20 darts by Pete Leake.
Competition finals and presentations take place at the Health Services Club tonight (8pm).
Mixed Pairs finalists are Mick Willsden-Doreen Johnstone (Slipper), Pete Leake-Karen Richardson (Tap), Kevin Walton-Dawn Exton (Cygnet) and Barry and Chrissy Noble.
The Men's Individual comprises Noble, Willsden, Gibbons and Martin Waddington, while the women's event sees Johnstone, Angie Hields, Diane Moreland and Sharon Neads in opposition.
Blind-draw Mixed Pairs contestants are Noble-Mandy Waddington, Dave O'Hara-Exton, Walton-Johnstone and Jim Hawksby-Jane Dobson.
