BISHOPTHORPE eased their Leeper Hare York and District League Reserve 'A' relegation worries at the expense of Wigginton Grasshoppers as goals from Greg Fitzmaurice and Paul Halliday saw them home 2-0.
Haxby remain without a league win this season after another heavy defeat, this time losing 5-1 at South Bank whose goals came from top scorer Dave Kettlewell and Will Moore.
Dringhouses moved back to the top of the table with a 4-2 home win against Dunnington who were two goals up through Paul Fowler and Ben Small before Dringhouses got into gear with goals from Nick Brown (2), Gary Lonsboro and Phil Jones.
Tim Furnell became the day's top scorer as he netted six of Pocklington's eight goals against Wigginton Black Horse. Simon Johnson, Andy Armitage and Simon Ewing managed to pull back three for Black Horse.
Riccall's outside promotion chances in Reserve 'B' look to be over after they went down 1-0 at home to lowly Moor Lane and Barmby Moor did their survival chances no harm with an 8-2 thumping of bottom team Nestl Rowntree with Nigel Allison (3), Barry Shepherdson (3) and Gavin Kemp among the goals.
Runaway leaders of Reserve 'C', Copmanthorpe, had to settle for a point at lowly White Horse after a first half goal from veteran Roy Atkinson was cancelled out by a John Gawthorpe late equaliser.
Stamford Bridge reinforced their hold on to second place with a 2-1 win at Wheldrake. Richard Byrne and Chris Allen put them ahead before Nick Willis pulled a goal back.
Stuart Ellis, Sam Bothomley and a Scott Palmer penalty gave Norton a 3-1 win over Heworth, whose goal came from Andy Coop.
Fulford were 3-0 up at Stillington thanks to Shaun Cade (penalty), Andy Millward and Nick Boyd but the home side, who are firmly anchored to the foot of the table, fought back with goals from George Burgess and Darryl Elseworth (2) to equalise.
However, Stillington's brave fightback was to no avail as Cade hit the Fulford winner with ten minutes left.
Ian Cappelman netted for Wilberfoss but visitors Huby ran out 2-1 winners.
