THE York Wasps Supporters' Trust working party are moving in the right direction to keep professional rugby league in the city - but they still need your help.
The working party has so far received more than £1,500 in cheque pledges following the launch of the "Keep Wasps Buzzing" campaign, but they are still some way off raising the funds they need to revive the club.
And the Evening Press is offering fans of both the Wasps and sport in the region another chance to pledge their support to the club by filling in the form reproduced today.
Gary Hall, a member of the Trust working party, said: "We are still working hard and are quite positive that the club will survive, but we're still looking for potential sponsors to come in and more donations.
"We've received £1,500 worth of cheques from the last pledge form so far, but there is still a lot of hard work to do."
Donation cheques should be made payable to York RLFC Supporters' Club and sent with the form to Hague and Dixon Solicitors, 1 The Square, Stamford Bridge, York, Y041 1AG.
The form can also be found within the Wasps section of this website.
