Yorkshire continued their poor start on their pre-season tour of Grenada by losing by five runs to Sussex in yesterday's 45 overs practice match.
Sussex recovered from 118 for 7 to 198 for eight after Matt Prior had slammed an unbeaten 88 with ten boundaries, Gavin Hamilton being Yorkshire's best bowler with 4 for 38.
In reply, Yorkshire reached 193 for 9, Vic Craven (63 with five fours) and Chris Taylor (50 with five fours) adding 91 in 18 overs for the third wicket but they then fell away, Davis claiming 3 for 32 and Michael Yardy 3 for 43.
