I HAVE just had a very relaxing holiday on Cyprus, an island where the crime rate, according to ex-pat Brits I spoke to, is very low.
Scanning the front page of a recent Evening Press I saw an attempted abduction, attack by a knifeman, a case of indecent exposure, a siege, and a road rage incident, all in the York area.
Where does Cyprus fit into this? Well it was administered for many years by Britain, they use the British system of law and it is very British in its ways without Britain's problems
So what has happened to this once great country of ours? We have a prime minister who acts like a dictator andthinks he can cure the problems of the world single-handedly instead of staying at home and running the country for the good of the British people.
We have Home Secretaries (Tory and Labour), who wring their hands not knowing how to halt the flow of so-called asylum seekers. Now the Government plans to legalise drug taking, as if there weren't enough drug-related problems. We need someone, to put the great back in Britain - it won't be Blair and his party.
