I am saddened by the attitude of the directors of the York City.
It has become a money or nothing game.
They have forgotten what the team means to a lot of people in York. As a child the highlight of the week was walking down to the ground to take in the sights and sounds of the game.
I now live in America and I still keep in touch with what's going on. I was at the Arsenal FA game I even went to Liverpool after the first time we held them at home.
I have seen a lot of bad times at City and a few good ones but that should not take away the fact that York needs York City FC.
