NO, Hunters estate agents haven't sold the Minster! But the York company's directors have something almost as great to celebrate.
The organisation has been highly commended for its customer service at the Property Business Awards.
According to judges at the event at the Tower Thistle Hotel in London, Hunters demonstrated, via customer feedback, excellent customer service to all.
Judges particularly liked the idea of external digital kiosks installed for buyers to view properties 24 hours a day.
This was also one of the reasons that Hunters, whose HQ is in Colliergate, York, was a finalist in the Innovative Use of New Technology category in the Evening Press Business of the Year 2001.
At that time judges praised the organisation as "a great example of how a business can use standard software effectively to enhance customer service and improve competitiveness."
Nearly 100 customers entered the Property Business Awards and during the ceremony Martin Robinson received the award for Hunters from Alan Pease, business guru and renowned author in business management skills.
