I HOPE you can help me trace a very old friend I made while in the Royal Air Force more than 40 years ago. He was my sergeant - Bill Pettinger. I met him in 1956 at RAF Wittering near Stamford, Lincolnshire, and worked with him until he was posted to the Far East in 1958 or 1959.
