York City-mad Sam Gray knew exactly where he wanted his birthday celebrations - at Bootham Crescent.
The seven-year-old threw a party at the home of York City, although his mum, Gail, had a few last-minute alterations to complete on the cake.
The Save City cake was transformed into a City Saved delight especially for the party-goers.
Dad Keith said Sam had a brilliant time. He said: "Sam is totally obsessed, he's football mad. We took a joint season ticket out at the beginning of last year and he went to the home games, and a couple of away ones too."
Peter Salter, commercial manager at Bootham Crescent, said: "We are more than happy to help out anytime people want to party, and there has certainly been a lot of noise coming from that direction."
