EVENING PRESS, the filly this newspaper's readers lease from Norton trainer Tim Etherington, is in great condition going into the new Flat turf season.
"I am thrilled to bits with the way she has developed over the winter," said the Wold House trainer. "She is in beautiful shape and has developed a lot and grown, put on bulk and muscle.
"We know that she needs quick ground and will be best over a mile and a quarter. The ground at present is too soft to consider racing her."
Etherington is not worried about Evening Press having struggled her first season.
"She comes from a family of late developers. Kestrel had 16 races before being placed and went on to win six," he said.
The Evening Press will bring you all the latest new of how Evening Press is faring.
