Sarah Manser and Lindsay Spicer put the student teachers in command with three wins for 92-64, which included the two and 11 matchwinner against Brenda Drummond and Barbara Walker.
Sally Locker and Lynne Terry totalled 101-62 in three wins as York University Staff Club won 5-4 at Huntington in ladies division two.
The key win was Locker and Terry beating Bev Tebbutt and Angie Hobman 6-15, 17-16, 15-4.
Ian Turner and Jeff Whittaker totalled 90-58 in theee straight wins as Rowntree won 8-1 at home to Shepherds in men's division one.
Gareth Murray and Dave Dearsley totalled 90-47 in three straight games wins to help St John's win 5-4 at home to Huntington in men's division two.
Liam Whittington and George Noble took the matchwinning rubber with an eight and eight win over Steve Gates and Tony I'Anson.
Ros Ellis and R Binns were top scorers with three wins for 90-24 as University Students 'A' won 9-0 away to Rowntree 'B' in mixed division one.
The Students also won 9-0 at home to Rowntree 'A' team, Nick Burton and Ros Ellis totalling 90-43 in three straight wins.
In mixed division two K Marshall and G Campbell clinched a 5-4 victory for Selby 77 in the deciding rubber away to RI Tuesday/Thursday with an eight and 11 win over the Institute's Susie Raine and Brian Morley.
Mixed division three leaders Pocklington 'A' beat Shepherds 6-3 and Drax 'C' 7-2.
Chris Kunkel and Sally Howat totalled 90-64 in three wins against Shepherds. Mark Burrows and Pam Palmer totalled 104-62 in three wins against Drax.
Selby Jubilee produced their best performance of the season to win 5-4 at Shepherds.
Neil Richardson and Val Bell were Jubilee's matchwinners, with a well-taken maximum for a return of 100-79.
Fulfordgate 'A' won 7-2 away to Pocklington 'B' in mixed division four, Fulfordgate new pairing Maureen Medlar and Alan Roberts winning their three rubbers for a total of 100-62.
Pat Ambler and Phil Hagues totalled 90-26 in three straight wins as RI Tuesday/Thursday 'B' trounced visitors Pocklington 'B' 9-0.
Selby Jubilee 'B' maintained their second spot in mixed division six with a 7-2 win at Middlethorpe.
Pete Lund and Sue Hudson totalled 90-56 in three straight wins. Geoff Deighton and Georgina Mackenzie played well for the home team, beating Paul Newnham and Linda Kenning 15-11, 11-15 15-12.
