THE inquiry team investigating the foot and mouth outbreak is set to visit Harrogate for a public meeting.
The team behind the "Lessons Learned" inquiry is visiting parts of the country which were heavily affected by foot and mouth disease, and will appear at the town's Wesley Methodist Chapel on Thursday, April 4, at 7pm.
Anyone interested in attending can apply for a ticket by contacting Samantha Dolley on 020 7261 8400, or e-mail her at: conferences@coi.gsi.gov.uk.
Anne McIntosh, MP for the Vale of York, said: "I am delighted that each visit will include a discussion with Dr Iain Anderson, Chairman of the Inquiry, who will set up the approach taken by the inquiry and listen to the views of members of the public."
Some tickets may be available on the night, but this is not yet guaranteed.
