STEP aside the three tenors - a York church can boast the four singing brothers.
Reunited in a choir for one night only after more than 40 years, the Long brothers cleared their throats and sang at a service at St Hilda's Church, in Tang Hall.
Harry, David, Michael and Brian all sang in the St Hilda's choir while growing up.
They returned to the Tang Hall Lane church for a one-off performance which they hoped would help boost dwindling congregations.
It was also to help mark the recent consecration of the new church building.
David, who runs the Tyburn House Hotel, in Albemarle Road, said: "We enjoyed it. There aren't usually that many there but there were 50 or 60 when we sang so hopefully some will stay.
"We are all still singing in some shape or form, although most of mine is when I'm in the bath these days, so it was nice to get back together.
"I'm not sure if it will happen again though. It could be a one-off."
Michael is now living in Northampton, Harry is in Grimsby and Brian lives in Warminster, Wiltshire.
