Wigginton Black Horse upset the Leeper Hare York and District League division one form book by winning 2-0 at promotion hopefuls Post Office.
Frankie Adams opened the scoring in the tenth minute and Neil Newton made the points safe on the hour.
Osbaldwick, who are Post Office's rivals for the second promotion spot, won at home to St John's College, while third-placed South Bank won at Huby.
Mark Triffitt scored the only goal of the first half in the 20th-minute for Osbaldwick and he added a second after the break.
Further goals by Mark Crangle and Anthony Luck saw Osbaldwick comfortably home. Andy Simpson scored for the students.
After a blank first half at Huby, South Bank were grateful for an own goal which set them on their way and three more were added by Simon Kehoe, John Alcock and Matthew Knowles.
Thorpe United are still on the fringe of the promotion race after a narrow 3-2 win at home to Civil Service, who scored first through Mark Finch. Gavin Clamp equalised from the penalty spot and netted a second after the break, again from the spot.
Shane Singleton hit Thorpe's third goal and Joe Michelli pulled one back for Civil Service.
Haxby Town grabbed a vital point in the relegation tussle at Hammerton with the last kick of the match after Stuart Ramsay had given the home side a first-half lead.
Table-toppers Malton Bacon Factory thumped Norwich Union 7-1 and managed to score all the goals.
They raced into a three-goal lead inside the first ten minutes with strikes by Wayne Read, Nick Cass and Simon Collins.
Jamie Barker converted a penalty in the 20th- minute and Cass completed his hat-trick before half-time to put the Factory seven up.
Early in the second half Read gave netted an own goal.
After their setback the previous weekend Copmanthorpe travelled to T&L Selby in what was virtually a 'six-pointer' in the division two championship race.
After a tight and scoreless first half Copmanthorpe's Ashley Burnett hit a shot from outside the box after 55 minutes to score his first goal of the season.
John Ginty levelled equalised 15 minutes later but ten minutes from time T&L deflected a right wing cross into their own net to hand the points to Copmanthorpe.
Easingwold Town earned a vital point against Barmby Moor in their bid to escape relegation.
Richard Barritt scored direct from a corner in the 20th-minute but five minutes before the break Kevin Shirley equalised with a crisp shot from 20 yards.
Hamilton Panthers erratic form continued as they lost 5-0 at home to Fulford. Glen Featherstone bagged a first half hat-trick, with Steve Dunn and Andy Patterson adding second half goals.
Stamford Bridge came from behind to beat Haxby & Wigginton. Alan Deaton put the Haxby side ahead and Julian Peck equalised on the hour. Nick Long hit the winner 15 minutes later.
Norton got a point from a scoreless draw at Heslington but they need wins if they are to avoid being relegated.
