A MAN was dragged into a bush by a woman demanding sex while walking his dog on a York footpath.
Police said the woman, who called herself Jane, approached the man on the path, off Water Lane, in Rawcliffe, at about 6pm yesterday, and warned him not to go any further as the path was flooded.
York Police spokesman Colin Ventress said she then asked the dog walker if he "liked fun" and asked if he "wanted to have sex with her as she had not had it that day".
The woman, who also had a dog with her, then attempted to drag the man into a bush after he refused her advances.
He managed to break free after a struggle and flee the area.
Sergeant Ventress said the woman was in her 30s, with mousy brown hair cut in a "bowl" style, and had a spotty face.
She was wearing a blue and white tracksuit and glasses.
