I HAVE been informed by my daughter that our weekly "shop" will now take place at a new supermarket because they are giving out vouchers for computers and she wants them for school.
Apparently, for every £10 I spend on groceries I will get a voucher, which my daughter can take to school.
When it has collected thousands of vouchers they can be redeemed for computers. My daughter has also told me I have also got to save crisp packets because they contain vouchers which can be redeemed for books.
So, it is a case of collecting thousands of crisp packets!
Call me a cynic but the Government should be providing schools with computers and books and not the public via a voucher scheme. Or have I missed the point?
