IN reply to Dr Ward (Letters, March 6), I am well aware of the excellent Coastliner bus service, but its existence should not justify First York's poor service to Copmanthorpe.
After all, the Coastliner travels through other parts of York but they are still provided with an evening and Sunday service by First York. Indeed, many areas of the city enjoy the services of alternative bus companies while still being better served by First York than Copmanthorpe.
