The annual Hunters Senior League Joe Lumb teams had a record turnout at their presentation evening.
Ray Varney, of Optivision, which sponsor the Joe Lumb, presented the following awards to David Coverdale (Sheriff Hutton Bridge) U13 Best Performance Award, U15 award went to John Cooke (Thirsk) and the U17s awards went to Guy Darwin (Bedale) Batting and Bowling Award, Luke Jennison (Scarborough) Best Fielding Award. The representative sides had what must be one of their best seasons to date with the U15s winning the Lords Taveners Final and the U17s reaching the final of the Wilkinson Sword Trophy only to be beaten by Bradford.
