NOW the roundabout at the junction between the A19 and the A1237 ring road is completed, I wonder if anyone has considered where all the young saplings have disappeared to?
Before work started on this roundabout there were hundreds of young saplings on the corner near the park and ride.
These were removed and work took place over several months. Now it seems they have replanted the same area with new saplings and I wonder at the cost of this.
I cannot believe the original ones have been used again, as the size of most of the new ones indicated they are only very young. The waste of growing trees is appalling, not to mention the cost of this exercise.
