JAMIE Bucknell, who would have been 15 today, was a remarkable young man whose death touched a city.
When his parents launched an appeal in his name to raise £7,500 for heart monitors, our readers responded magnificently. The target was reached within three weeks, and the final total was nearly double that.
Now Debbie and Keith Bucknell are building on that wonderful generosity with a permanent appeal. We wish them every success. They are keeping Jamie's memory alive in the most positive way.
