I READ with sadness of the death of Raymond Richards (February 28). I worked for him when I was 15, it was my first job after leaving school at Richards Photographers in Bootham and I worked there for two years before I became redundant.
Mr Richards was a lovely man, very soft and gentle. He was very good at printing, was lovely to talk to and always thanked you if you did any work for him.
The world would be a better place if there were more people like Mr Richards. My thoughts go to his wife and family.
