AN ANTI-bullying campaign being run across York is being supported by a city supermarket and York MP Hugh Bayley.
Mr Bayley visited Asda in Monks Cross to find out more about the store's fundraising to support the campaign.
It is being run across York schools by the NSPCC Full Stop Campaign and City of York Council.
The store has been raising money for the last two weeks in a bid to raise £5,000.
The money will go towards the production of leaflets and posters which are being circulated to all York schools.
Bus advertising will also highlight the campaign.
Wendy Neale, Asda's events co-ordinator, said: "We have been running various fundraising activities including a 'take your kids to work' day, tombolas and collections.
"Managers and colleagues have also dressed up as school kids this week to boost the funds and raise awareness of the campaign.
"We are delighted to be involved in the campaign. Bullying is an issue which we at Asda feel very strongly about."
Last year the company held its own campaign called "Know More" aimed at tackling bullying.
