For those not familiar with Antipodean culture the pieces of wood pictured are didgeridoos.
Picture framer Antony Bentley has started stocking them at his shop in Piercy End, Kirkbymoorside, and they have been selling like hot cakes.
"We started stocking them three months ago and 16 have already been snapped up by customers," he said.
"Some of them want to put them with Australian- themed displays they have in their homes, but a few have come in because they're keen to learn how to play."
With a combination of circular breathing the player can produce a constant vibration sound.
