MARCH marks the start of Marie Curie Cancer Care's annual daffodil campaign in support of local services to people with cancer. Daffodils will be on display in shops throughout the area. I ask readers to give a donation and wear one of these symbols of hope through March.
Funds raised will benefit local Marie Curie Nurses who give vital practical nursing care to people with cancer and their families in their own homes in this area. The service is free to patients and their families.
If you can help by having a box of daffodils at your shop, holding a small coffee morning with friends, or sparing a couple of hours to join our team of collectors, please call us on 01904 621000. Thank you for helping us to make a difference.
