A Soup-er York company has become a soup-er judge of other super companies.
Stone Soup, a small promotions and publishing firm which scooped last year's North Yorkshire Young Entrepreneur of the Year Livewire Awards organised by Shell, will be a judge in the competition this year.
And alongside Stone Soup's Andy Milson on the panel studying the ten young hopefuls at Le Meridien Hotel, York, on Friday March 15, will be their mentor, Norman Whyte of York Business Advice Centre. Find out about the contestants on the centre spread.
Stone Soup, with the backing of York, Selby and Malton Advice Centre has been causing quite a splash just lately with "100% True".
That is the giggly pocketbook of their own truisms, such as "You're always scared when you put on other people's wellies" and: "Fat fingers look dirtier than thin ones".
Another truism which could apply to the Livewire competition: "Judge only when ye have been already judged..."
