A HUMDINGER of a duel has been thrown up by the Accident Cup.
The semi-finals of the competition - run by the York and District Rugby League - has pitched Heworth against their National Conference League division two arch-rivals York Acorn.
Already this season the clubs have encountered each other three times, including the Nutri-Grain Challenge Cup. Heworth hold the advantage two to one.
In the other semi-final, New Earswick All Blacks will entertain York Groves, with both games scheduled for Saturday, March 2.
- Anyone interested in competing in the Interworks tournament are invited to attend a meeting at the South Bank Working-Men's Club on Tuesday, February 26, starting at 7.30pm. The gathering will be followed by a York and District League management meeting.
