THORPE United and Real Cliffe fought out a tremendous end-to-end battle in the York Mitchell Sports Football League's first division.
United just edged it 5-3 thanks to goals from Stefan Dodds (2), Nick Firth, Jonny Herridge and Craig Dickinson. Scorers for Cliffe were Craig Haythorne, Graham Stewart and Chris Gilmartin.
Another Selby derby saw Barlby Raiders come from Selby Town with a 4-2 win with Luke Lacharenko scoring a hat-trick. Dan Mustill netted both Selby goals.
Huntington ran riot as they crushed bottom team Bass Sport 22-0 with Daniel Turton scoring five goals. He was backed up by Chris Aitchison (3), Michael Allenby (3), Liam Broadley (2), Matthew Gott (2), George McGrath, Chris Bunce, William Atkinson, Thomas Magee, Jonjo Gabell, Frazer Lea and Josh Hewer.
Mark Unwin scored the only goal of the game as Wigginton Grasshoppers 'A' won at Hamilton Panthers 'A', while Poppleton beat Easingwold 2-1 with goals by G Thompson and J Hinds. F Lloyd-Jones replied.
Draws were the order of the day in division one with Rowntrees Pumas and Tadcaster Albion fighting out a 0-0 draw.
It was also honours even at Heworth, where Chris Thompson's goal for the hosts was cancelled out by Danny Penrose's effort for Copmanthorpe Cougars.
However, Dunnington beat Selby Olympia 3-0 with Charles Metcalfe, Matthew Wilks and Scott Nichols on target.
Division three leaders Rowntree Rhinos maintained their form beating Elvington Harriers 5-3 with goals by D James (3), B Stoker and L Kirkby. N Hind, D Tuit and M Revell responded.
Ulleskelf kept in contention with an 8-0 win at North Duffield, where James Windle (4), Charles Woodhead (2), Matthew King and Bobby Gray scored.
James Newnam scored a hat-trick as York RI defeated Barmby Moor 9-0. Also on target were Aaron North (2), Adam Deighton, Daniel Downey, Thomas Thompson and Jonathan Gargan.
Nathan Walker and Philip Gray goals gave Pocklington a 2-0 win over neighbours Barmby Moor.
