PAUL Fawcett hit Huntington's winner with a right-foot volley in the 80th minute against Old Malton in Reserve A.
Ian Whittaker opened the scoring for Huntington but Old Malton equalised from the penalty spot and a draw looked likely until Fawcett's late blast.
Kartiers also had to wait until late on before Wayne Coulthard hit the only goal of the game against Wigginton Grasshoppers.
Bishopthorpe eased their relegation fears with a 4-3 win over Wigginton Black Horse with goals from Graham Wigley (3) and Greg FitzMaurice. Graham Vickers, Neil Newton and Simon Fisher netted for Black Horse.
Jamie Calvert and Paul Fowler hit the goals to give Dunnington a 2-0 victory at Haxby, who are still searching for their first win of the season.
There were goals galore at South Bank where St Johns College enjoyed the better of an eleven-goal bonanza. It was 4-4 at half-time but the students finished 7-4 winners with two goals each by Andrew Stephens, Adrian Gray and Paul Mills and an own goal. Dave Kettlewell, Nigel Parker (2) and Darryl Strickland were on target for South Bank.
