IT Sports Wigginton returned to winning ways with an impressive 4-1 victory over Hallamshire in the Yorkshire Squash League premier division.
Wigginton showed no ill effects after last week's reverse at the hands of Pontefract to beat the Sheffield-based Hallamshire.
Ian Tooms started with a 3-0 victory over Nick King.
The match was levelled when Matt Lowery lost against Brendan Hickerman in a close encounter 3-2 but that was as good as it got for Hallamshire as Wigginton seized the initiative with comprehensive 3-0 victories for Matt Oxley and England player Paul Hargrave against Neil Guirey and Nick Wall respectively.
The match was won in the fourth game as Duncan Walsh overcame Peter Billson in the match of the evening. Walsh twice came from behind to win a ding-dong battle.
