A PACK of green-fingered York Cubs helped plant a new hedge and wildlife garden at a local park.
Cubs from the 1st Holgate Group descended on West Bank Park as part of half-term activities, organised by City of York Council and Friends of West Bank Park.
Council leisure officer Michelle Bainbridge said: "The Cubs worked really hard despite it raining heavily. We managed to put in a nice hedge around the park's wildlife garden which includes a pond, seating area and bird feeding stations."
