A MAN was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his arm, hand and legs after a disturbance at a travellers' settlement at Clifton Moor, York. Police and ambulance crews were first called out to Amy Johnson Way at Clifton Moor Business Park at 12.50am today.
They received a call from a security officer about a disturbance involving travellers.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said that when officers arrived the area was quiet and the injured man refused to talk to police and refused medical treatment.
Later in the morning, at 2.30am, the ambulance service was called again and a 25-year-old man was taken to York District Hospital for treatment.
