THIS is a thriller which I very nearly overlooked and that would have been a crime.
It centres on FBI special agent Pierce Quincy, who has just buried his daughter, Amanda.
Police reports concluded that Amanda was drunk when her car careered out of control, but Pierce, with years of experience in detective work, thinks otherwise.
He enlists the help of his former lover, Rainie Connor, an ex-cop turned private investigator.
Together, they discover that Amanda was in fact murdered, and that the killer is plotting revenge against Quincy and his family.
Next on his hit list is Quincy's surviving daughter, Kimberly.
The Next Accident is a chilling, disturbing and heart-stopping tale, with numerous twists and turns. Definitely worth reading.
