A MINI Red army are putting their best foot forward to help raise funds for the newly-formed York City Supporters' Trust.
Nick Gonsalves and nine fellow supporters are hoping to complete a 32-mile sponsored march ahead of City's home game with Hartlepool United on February 16.
The fans will set off from the White Horse overlooking Kilburn, near Thirsk, this Friday, and plan to arrive at the White Horse pub in Bootham the following day in time for kick-off.
Gonsalves, who has planned the event, said: "We are all loyal City fans and hope our efforts will raise as much money as possible for the Trust.
"Everyone is looking forward to the walk, it will be daunting but well worth it."
Anyone wishing to sponsor the group can contact Nick on 01904 410414. Sponsorship forms are also available from the York City club shop.
