JOE GAUGHAN scored four and Pat Gaughan a hat-trick as Nestle Rowntree overwhelmed visitors Riccall in Leeper Hare York and District League premier division.
Lee Knaggs started the onslaught after only three minutes with a goal from a 30-yard shot.
Two minutes later Gaughan beat the off-side trap to make it 2-0 and in the eighth minute Andy Kennedy came through on the right for Joe Gaughan to make it 3-0.
In the 15th minute Patrick Gaughan shot home from close range and after 26 minutes Joe Gaughan completed his hat-trick.
Four minutes later he beat the off-side trap to get his fourth goal.
After 35 minutes Kennedy was set up by Joe Gaughan to make it 6-0 and six minutes before the interval Pat Gaughan latched on to a low ball to score his second goal of the game. Early in the second half Pat Gaughan scored from the penalty spot.
Premier division leaders Pocklington won 3-0 at Rufforth. Pocklington led 2-0 at half-time, Charlie Bond scoring both goals. Owen Ellis scored in the second half.
Third-placed Old Malton won 3-1 at home to Crayke. Neil Wilford put Old Malton ahead from the penalty spot. Philip Hill made it 2-0 on the hour and after the interval bagged his second in a goalmouth scramble. Mark Hutchinson netted for Crayke.
Boroughbridge beat visitors Kartiers 2-0, the home team dominating the first-half and scoring through Ollie Uffidall and Darrell Terry in the 14th and 17th minutes.
Dunnington drew 1-1 at home to Bishopthorpe. Grant Tolworthy went close with two headers in the early stages and goalkeeper John Pooley made several good saves to deny Bishopthorpe.
James Calvert, brother of former York City player Cliff, gave Dunnington the lead in the 60th minute after a mix-up in Bishopthorpe's defence. Chris Smith equalised for Bishopthorpe two minutes from time.
Post Office and Malton Bacon Factory both won in their progress towards promotion from division one.
The Bacon Factory won 3-1 at third-placed Osbaldwick.
Simon Collins opened the scoring for the visitors after 20 minutes. Mark Triffitt equalised in the second half before Collins netted his second goal and Nick Cass rounded things off 15 minutes from time.
Post Office won 2-0 at Haxby. The game was heading for a stalemate until two substitutions for Post Office. With 20 minutes to go Alex Livie scored twice.
Civil Service's Joe Michelli scored both goals in their 2-1 win away to Norwich Union.
He opened the scoring in the first-half, while five minutes into the second-half Fonawah Atang equalised before Michelli hit the winner for Civil Service in injury time.
St John's College went two goals up through Rob Ellis and Andy Simpson at home to Wigginton Black Horse. Steve Hudson pulled one back for Black Horse but Ellis hit his second to secure the points for the Students.
There were five goals in the first half as Thorpe Willoughby won 3-2 at home to Huby.
Two goals from Dean Wood and one from Daniel Crowther put the home side in command, then two goals from 16-year-old Adam Johnson brought Huby right back into contention.
Martin Cowl gave South Bank the lead at home to Hammerton but they lost 'keeper Paul Drake in the 15th minute when he was sent off for a 'professional' foul.
The visitors drew level by half time but the ten men battled away and were rewarded when Chris Rowan struck the winner.
Division two leaders Copmanthorpe's game at home to Heworth was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and second-placed Haxby & Wigginton took the opportunity to close the gap to four points by coming back from two down to win 3-2 at home to Easingwold.
Paul Rudd and Mike Hartley put Easingwold two up. The home side's centre-back Simon Rycroft was adjudged to have prevented a goal-scoring opportunity and was sent off in the eighth minute.
Steve Sullivan scored direct from a free kick for Haxby & Wigginton just before half-time and after the change-round the home side had the strong wind at their backs.
Graham Gallagher used the wind to his advantage by scoring with a spectacular free-kick from inside his own half and Mark Grewer hit the winner.
The wind also played a part in the bottom of the table clash at Church Fenton, where White Horse won 4-2 at home to Norton United, who went two up with the wind at their backs.
Nigel Chester scored for White Horse in touch with a goal before half-time. Second half goals from Chester, Lee Jones and Simon Ashton wrapped up the victory.
T&L Selby dented Stamford Bridge's promotion hopes with a 3-0 home win.
After a blank first-half, in which the visitors' goalkeeper saved a penalty from Chris Harkin, Stamford Bridge conceded an own goal and were then hit by strikes from Paul Tanton and James Pearson.
Barmby Moor were held 2-2 at home to Heslington after taking the lead twice, through Sam Hobson and Mark Blenkin. However, defensive errors allowed the visitors to hit back.
Fulford and Hamilton Panthers drew 2-2. Steve Dunn opened the scoring for Fulford after five minutes. Paul King equalised five minutes before half-time.
Andy Patterson regained the lead for Fulford in the 70th minute, somewhat against the run of play. James Brown equalised with a spectacular lob over the keeper from 35 yards.
