BED blocking need never to have happened if the York's City Hospital had been left as an old people's hospital, instead of being sold off for private development as seems to happen so often these days.
Does the money from the sales of hospital sites get ploughed back into NHS resources?
Selling such sites as Clifton, Naburn and and City hospitals would solve the financial crisis and improve York's medical services no end.
