KEEP York Minster free of entrance fees. If more funds are needed for its upkeep, perhaps they would increase the present charges of the existing attractions which carry a small fee - at The Tower, Undercroft, Chapter House, Treasury and Crypt.
I don't think this suggestion would deter tourists looking forward to seeing these wonders.
