STAFF at Beningbrough Hall are looking for helpers to teach children about life as a late 19th century servant.
More volunteers are being sought at the stately home near York to teach groups of up to 30 youngsters, to use possers and dollies in the laundry, set tables and polish metalware in the housekeeper's room.
Children are also shown traditional gardening techniques.
The Below Stairs education programme, organised by the National Trust which owns the Hall, is aimed at children aged seven to 11.
