MARTYN Turner was in magnificent form as Clifton 'A' beat York Atlas Auto Services Darts League division one house rivals Clifton 'B' 7-2.
Turner's 140, 180, 97 was followed by a two dart 84 check-out for 11 darts.
Neil Hart added a 138 finish and Paul Brandon chipped in with a 20-darter. Darrell Blake closed on 110 for the 'B' team.
Rich Corner threw 180 for 19 and an 18 darter from Paul Cooper was backed up with 21 darters from both Allen Galley and Andy Lawson to give Bay Horse victory within the singles against Bishopthorpe, whose only singles winner was Tony Raymond.
Andy Thompson inclded a maximum for Escrick as they beat Mitre 7-2. Good scores from John Pickering and Neil Long salvaged the aggregate point for Mitre.
Darren Gray closed 96 for 17 darts as Volunteer raced to a 3-0 lead, but Tap levelled through Mick Nixon (21), Darren Bailey (18) and Alex Render (20).
Vic Botterill-Dave Bland won the last game for victory, but Tap hung on to the aggregate point.
Division two runaway leaders Cygnet demolished Burton Stone, whose Paul Tallon put up the best resistance. John Miller (18) and Steve Lane (21) were Cygnet's best players.
Acomb lost ground on the leaders when going down 5-4 to Woolpack, but two 140s from Dave Tute saved the aggregate.
A maximum from Dave Brigham in 20 darts squared Huntington's match with Howden, whose Eric Jennings combined with Dave Tatterton to take victory. Harry Watson scored well to save Huntington the aggregate.
Fulford Arms had no answer to Crescent 'A', and Stan Isaac was in good form for Crescent 'B' against Ebor.
Huntington 'B' lead division three following a 5-4 win over Yearsley. Six Bells took all the pairs games to wrap up the win against Jackdaw.
Fine scores from Col Thompson and Andy Armitage saved the aggregate point for Reindeer against Bumper. Winning Post had a fine 6-3 win at Indoor Bowls.
In division four, Clifton recorded their tenth straight victory with a 6-3 win over Bay Horse, whose Ali Wray closed on 120.
Hospital Social Club's quest for honours was bolstered with a 6-3 win over Mount. York Arms had Roz Kerr in fine form in their 8-1 win over Crown. Dave Pektus prevented the whitewash.
The Blind Pairs Knockout Competition will take place on Thursday, February 28 at Hospital Social Club, White Cross Road, starting at 8.30pm. To enter, turn up on the night.

Victoria Vaults gave Sun Inn a scare in York John Smith's League division one.
Twenty-one darts by Phil Smith and one more from Andy Mercer put the leaders 2-0 adrift. However, Sun recovered to win, Tony Cooper making a 180 and Chris Thompson out in 17.
John Dykes (19), John Mooring (21) showed up best in a Shepherd 'A' 6-3 at Green Tree 'B'. Kev Walton gamed on bullseye.
Gary Hannigan-Darren Howcroft sealed a win for Poacher, but Yearsley had an excellent 158 finish for 21 from Phil Derbyshire and 180 for 19 by Lee Mason.
Phil Carter produced a critical 21 darter for Shepherd 'B' at Saddle. Shepherd then took the pairs for a 5-4 win, Carter and Steve Keenaghan securing the decider.
Ron Simpson partnered Rich Plummer to get Trafalgar the decider, but 180 from Barry Noble and a wide 20 darts win took the aggregate for Dringhouses.
Sun 'B' had Wayne Pagdin-Richard Walton taking an important two points from Lighthorseman's grasp in division two, while the leaders Osbaldwick, more or less ended Cygnet's bid with a 7-2 scoreline.
Second-placed Holgate were 4-1 down to Green Tree 'A', but 20 darts from Pete West then the three pairs, West and Mick Brookes at number nine, saw them scrape home.
Steve Schofield started Institute 'B' off with 20 darts but Swan sailed in 7-2. Institute 'A' lost 6-3 at Slip, whose Kevin Richmond jrn shot 20.
Phoenix won the aggregate due to a fine Ian Gradwell game, but Groves fought back to level at 4-4, with Dave Atkin-Fred Stead and Barry Houlden-Paul Shepherd snatching the decider.
