ANOTHER chunk of our childhood is up for sale. Nestl is restructuring, and among the famous brands on the way out is Rowntree's jelly.
Jelly was once as much a part of birthday parties as pass the parcel and tantrums.
But today's sophisticated youngsters often turn their noses up at such a simple pleasure.
They are more likely to text out for some tiramasu.
For many of us, however, a dish of the wobbly stuff, with a healthy topping of Carnation, will never be surpassed.
Now the question remains: whatever happened to blancmange?
