WE SAY, Seth, does one fancy a pint in't Woolpack?
Well, The Queen might not actually say that, but she will almost certainly get a chance to visit Yorkshire's most famous fictional hostelry when she arrives on the Emmerdale set as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Her Majesty will visit the soap set near Harewood, West Yorkshire, as she celebrates her landmark year.
The visit will complete a clean sweep of trips to TV's top-rated soaps.
She will drop in on the custom-built set on July 11, to meet cast and crew of the ITV1 show.
She is expected to tour the tailor-made village, nestled in the Yorkshire Dales, where the show is celebrating a landmark of its own; its 30th anniversary.
Emmerdale's executive producer, Keith Richardson, said: "We are very proud that the Queen should choose to visit Emmerdale in this, her Golden Jubilee year.
"It is a great honour for everyone involved in the show's success, and it will be a privilege to be host to Her Majesty at a time when the country is celebrating this occasion."
Emmerdale, which began as Emmerdale Farm, was originally filmed in the real-life Yorkshire villages of Arncliffe and Esholt. The show moved to the 11-acre Harewood Estate in 1998.
Last year, EastEnders was given the royal seal of approval when the monarch popped into the Queen Vic.
And two decades ago, she made a trip to Coronation Street's studios in Manchester.
During her visit to Emmerdale, the Queen might also be able to catch up with the latest news, views and sport, as the Evening Press is on prominent display in the village Post Office.
