MICK Wilcockson, champion four years ago, has been made top seed to regain the men's singles title at the York and District Table Tennis Association Closed Championships this weekend.

Last year's winner John Farmery is seeded at number two, with Poppleton's England-ranked Under 15 star Richard Moss the number three seed.

The seedings for the championships, which are being played at York RI gymnasium, Queen Street, on Saturday and Sunday, were made last Friday night be the competitions committee.
