I THANK the York people who helped my fundraising efforts for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
I had the privilege of being invited by the hospital to take part, along with 45 others, in the GOSH Inca Challenge.
This included trekking the Inca Trail in the Peruvian Andes, visiting ancient Inca sites including the Inca capital - Machu Picchu.
I have raised £3,792.49 to help the hospital buy a scanner to measure children's bone density.
This will enable the hospital to treat and detect diseases and also build a database of bone density mass of children - a subject about which little is known right now.
