Woodhouse Grange Cricket Club, National Village Knock-out winners at Lords in 1995, will celebrate their diamond jubilee with a sporting dinner at York Viking Moat House on Sunday, February 24, 2002 (5pm for 6pm).
Richard Hutton and David Kendall are the guest speakers at the dinner which is the first of a number of events to celebrate the club's 60th anniversary. A brochure will be produced to commemorate the milestone.
Committee member Alasdair Swann said: "We are anticipating that 250 people will be attending our dinner and we hope that many of our former players and wives will come along.
"Unfortunately, we have lost contact with some because they have changed addresses and I would appeal to any of our 'missing' members to contact me if possible." Swann can be contacted on 01904 410689
