SEVENTIES groove is hitting the streets of a North Yorkshire market town once more.
Shopaholics and ageing hippies alike will be making a bee-line to one of Malton's most unusual shops yet.
And finding a pair of those spangled flares won't be a case of "mission impossible" when the new store opens tomorrow.
Shop owner Derek Allan is opening The Mission, in Yorkersgate, next door but one to women's fashion store Ego, which he started in July last year.
Now style gurus in search of a retro outfit can head straight to the town for a bit of Saturday Night Fever.
Sales assistant Kerrie Stephenson said staff would divide their time between Ego and The Mission. She said: "It should be fun to work in.
"A lot of the younger customers have been saying they are looking forward to it opening up. It's something different for Malton, a bit of a face-lift."
Owner Derek Allan said: "The Mission is just another extension of Ego, for someone who wants a complete make over or a change to their image.
"All the clothes will have a retro theme, with vintage hand-picked items and new handmade clothes."
