YORK City Reserves will now travel to Oakwell tonight for their Avon Insurance League Cup match against Barnsley (kick-off 7pm).
The tie had originally been drawn to take place at Bootham Crescent, but drainage and re-turfing work on the pitch meant the game was going to be postponed.
However, the two Yorkshire rivals have now decided to switch the tie to ensure it goes ahead. With Saturday's bumper FA Cup tie against Fulham in mind, City have opted to name a young-looking line-up in a bid not to risk any of their key players.
City (from): Collinson, Thompson, Vasey, Smith, Davies, Fox, Wood, Stamp, O'Kane, Emmerson, Ibbotson, Rhodes, Hampshire, Salvati, Law, Barry.
